Where healing begins with being seen and love becomes safe to breathe again.

There are souls who walk through life quietly carrying wounds the world cannot see.
Not because they are hiding…
but because their nervous system learned to guard their heart before it ever learned how to rest in love.
After heartbreak,
some begin living in a climate of silence -
not cold, just protective.
Not bitter, just careful.
They don’t choose heaviness;
their body simply remembers what it took to survive.
And then one day,
love arrives.
Soft.
Steady.
Unforced.
And this gentle presence touches places they’ve buried under years of self-protection.
Instead of feeling safe, they feel exposed.
Seen.
Unarmored.
At risk of being loved for real -
which is the very thing they stopped believing was safe to want.
So they pull away.
Not from you,
but from the possibility of being seen again.
They run - not because they don’t feel…
but because they feel everything.
This is the paradox of healing:
Sometimes real love hurts more than the pain that built the walls.
But here’s the miracle -
If they can feel… they can heal.
And every tremble, every tear,
is proof that their heart still longs to open.
To trust.
To return.
To love.
Because what was wounded in relationship,
can be healed in relationship -
when love walks in with presence, patience, and no need to rush the bloom.
Awaken By Love
Where healing begins with being seen
and love becomes safe to breathe again.
